Yes Alice, it is supposed to be raining. How can the comics reading public laugh at your misfortunes if you don’t have any?

Be thankful of the big tv, you are going to need it….

The big TV and Alice’s questions reminded me of an old “New Yorker” cartoon.

The car can’t move, flat tire I think. The dad says to the two kids, “No, we can’t change the channel. This is real.”

No sun, but plenty of free ice cubes…

Beach weather is chancy, especially in late August and September along the east coast.

I remember booking a room at VA Beach when my son was about Petey’s age. The place was a dump. It rained. We went to the aquarium.

Imagine asking Petey to stick his hand in the ray-petting tank.

Their Convention Center is really small…

It’s so small, the Marquee says “Welcome Ice Machine Repairman”…

Did anyone notice the sign under the name of the hotel (Welcome Ice Machine Repairman.)? At least they are warning the guests that no ice is available.

Someone was successful in getting Petey to quit chewing his arm off. Either that or he regrew the arm on the way.

You can try to make him feel welcome, but everybody knows you can’t tie down an Ice Machine Repairman.

It always rains in Geek’s Neck, Alice. That’s why the prices are so low there….

To top it off the sign is welcoming the ice machine repairman…

I can almost hear the “splash” of the tires going through the gutter water.
