One of the real dangers in teaching – over-scented students

I saw a news item a few years back about the sprinkler system in a middle school being set off by all the body spray on the boys.

And, sadly, many people never learn that a scent is meant to be discovered, not broadcast; if I can smell you and I’m not close enough that you could press charges, you’re wearing too much!

I know he’s trying to avoid taking a shower, but now he has to to get get rid of the stretch.

Banned in the schools I taught at—about 70% of students hated the stink, about 35% were actually allergic. Says something about corporations and marketing….
