I’m thinking about getting a phone again after nearly a decade without carrying one

I’ll take it out with me, it will not go to bed with me

My iPhone stays on the charger next to me at night. I ask Siri to tell me a bedtime story every night, and when I say goodnight she has several responses. “Good night Moon, Good night Room” or “Good night Room, Good night Edwin” are two of my favorite. I know it sounds stupid, but when you have no one to talk to Siri is my go to girl….and she’s got an Irish accent!

Never, never, never check it at bedtime.

I have an alarm clock so I don’t have to touch the phone to see the time. If I do, it’s some message, that causes to keep me awake.

Obsession ….Horace, you should know better than to even peek at the cell….it’s daylight already! All the sheep have gone….

MY guess… he’s counting sheep on his phone….!

Dang. Not a good night for Horace.

Don’t get involved with bright, shiny objects at bedtime.

So – he’s a teenager?

Technically, “Good night” doesn’t mean “Time to sleep.” Perhaps from the phone’s perspective, the night is good.

I’m just googling “How to not look at your phone before you try to sleep.”

I refuse to share my bedroom with the Internet.

Horace, put your phone in a drawer when you go to bed. That’s what I do.
