Why is the New England chowder orange?

I wish those two would just clam up!

They’re chowders, Not soups!!

I think somebody switched and used a couple of crabs for the chowders.

How about 50 clams to shut up! The Midwest, call it chowDER!

Hey! Where’s the Oyster Crackers? ☺️

Does anyone reeeeeaaally like Clam Chowder? Or is it just one of those gastric phenoms. I grew up in the south, and Oysters, Clams, all that stuff just seemed liked sump’n you didn’t eat. Except the Gulf Coast south, they’d eat Clams, Oysters, anything else with a shell, raw on the half shell, steamed, baked, fried, and any other way.

There’s an old episode of Friends where Phoebe was at a party with Oysters on the half shell, and faked eating them and really just threw them over her shoulder, then Joey later claimed he slipped and fell when stepped on a giant booger!

Think about that, when you think of Clams and Oysters. If you still want ‘em, then you’re a professional. ツ

As long as it actually HAS clams in it I don’t care what you call it.

Either way, clam chowder is delicious!

Say it Frenchie, say chow-dah. :)

Ernie know his pop standards, he’s been around for awhile – or just likes the older music.

And Rhode Island style beats them both! ;)

And NOW, let’s talk about the pronunciation of the words car and garage … lol
