I will not drink green beer – “No, Ma’am”. I will not drink it, Dave-I-Am.

I will not drink it here or there. I will not drink it anywhere.

A bar in New York City serves green beer, and a bakery has green bagels today. I never tried either one.

You may like green beer, you see. You may like it in a tree!

How’d I get in this tree, I ask. Getting down, will be a task.

Would you, could you, get me down, to finish my green beer on the ground?

If you let me be, I will get you down. But I must have green beer to fly around.

Flying is how you got there first, green beer doesn’t quench a powerful thirst.

It makes one fly up into trees, avoid you must, the buzzing bees.

Once you are down, you will have to walk, flying is meant for eagles and hawks. No more green beer on St. Patrick’s Day, or you may find yourself on GoComics trying to rhyme like Dr. Seuss.

I made green eggs and ham for my kids growing up…that’s when Dr. Seuss was very popular.

    Oh the places we’ve been…..☺️

May the wind be at your back…and guide you into a bar with Green Beer! LOL

That’s a really BIG apology, Dave! – BTW – none of it sounds appealing. Sounds like something you find in the back of a refrigerator.

I managed to get roped into helping the kindergarten teacher with the scrambled green eggs on Read Across America Day (aka Dr. Seuss Day). One year, the kindergarten teacher didn’t realize the green dye bottle in her kit had dried up. She remembered basic art training that blue and yellow make green. The egg yolks were already yellow, so she added blue dye. Since the yolks were actually more orange than yellow, she ended up with brown eggs. So we had mudpies and ham.

I made green eggs for my kids by adding spinach to scrambled eggs. Tastes pretty good, especially with pieces of ham scrambled in too.
