I really liked this one. I think I am finally starting to get into the modern Tracy now. It’s just I think I caught on during a slower story.

Those are some giant freaking hands in Panel 3! At least the storyline is moving. With the circus that handover would have happened over a period of 5 weeks!

I don’t know about the violin case, but that scarf sure looks glad to see someone…

Panel 2: the “kid” looks a bit old to be a kid.

So true watcha. His hands are tree times the size they were in panel 1 relative to the ever changing shape of the violin case. I’ll bet the shape of the lunch box/briefcase changes in the next few days too.

Didn’t he want 10 million a couple of days ago? Maybe by next week it will be down to a thousand dollars.

The artwork is astoundingly bad today. The face on the driver in the second panel looks like it was melted in a fire and the thumb in the third panel looks like it’s about three feet long.

“I trust you.” Yep, as long as Locher keeps the bad guys two shades dumber than Macy, our hero will always come out on top. Wait ‘till he runs into a smart one, though!

The dummy should have checked the money he maybe the dummy maybe not cash but newspaper or funny money.

Always a good idea to wear your sunglasses at NIGHT.

Not to mention trusting crooks. Doesn’t the kid read the Snotpickers Grabbag every Sunday??

Watcha spotted the Brozman hands in panel 3, an “over statement” for Locher’s (penciled in) understatement in panel one.

But it’s in the mid panel that we get our first look at who may be the new villain.

Did you see a “bald” character Flight Suit ? We get a better view tomorrow and it looks like by then he’s probably slipped on a “wig”, or did an overnight - Joe Biden !

With this unique characteristic already revealed, could his name be “Topsy Turvey” ?

“Sudden change”, has always been part of the Locher mystique, and this new story start is no exception !

The only uncertainty is, was it a carefully thought through change as in Junior/John Locher/Tracy (?) … or did he just have a “snap” (unintended) mental lapse again ?

Coke-Sniffer’s Jokebook: Selling something valuable in a crooked deal? Trust the buyer - there’s no need to open the suitcase and count the money!

We were right, millions of dollars in a lunch box.

Maybe the money is digital and the only thing in the box is a very large and secure password? Those take up a lot of space.

Would the real villain be out on this cold night risking getting spotted buying stolen merchandise (whatever it is)? Don’t they usually send expendables to do the courier work?

They got 1/4 of a million, or maybe it was 1/2 million, in a small case when Dick was playing matrix cards with Big Ace six months ago. Nothing new.

Maybe once again we’ll watch Locher loose track of how much money is involved.

Actually, the money is in the form of a personal check. Much easier to keep track of for income tax purposes.

You can’t fit 2M in a lunchbox, not even in thousand dollar bills. That’s 2,000 pieces of paper.

You couldn’t fit a violin in that miniature violin case, either – it would just about hold a piccolo.

He’s really selling the antigravity device concealed in his scarf. (Badly concealed.)

Brozman’s artwork has gone consistantly downhill with every story since the Jack of Hearts caper. I really think that DL is doing the brunt of the work again

Akenta: He was offered $10 Million a couple off weeks ago, but he said it was too much money. what do you want to bet we will NEVER find out why.

The way I read the $10 million was the buyer saying something to the effect of, “You could get more than $10 for that,” and LHS (Long-Haired Son) said, “Just do as I say!”

There was no demand for $10 million

Panel 3: the hands are doing the opposite of the Vulcan salute. I guess that means “Die Soon and Be Poor.”
