I have a strange feeling that old Mylar is a little more than just a nerdy nephew. Could be that he’s got some connections… Or maybe that ole’ Kassie isn’t the only heir after all.

So – what are the odds Davey survives the date?And I bet she bought the dress just for the occasion.

Since Abner was a TV host, I’m sure he’s on the talent list as well.

So is Blaze a babysitter now, or a call girl? Now it’s Panda’s Talent Agency, Greenhouse and Massage Parlor.

Blaze can look quite feminine and hot when the job requires it; that is a flattering dress she has donned for her dinner-date, whether in an orangey-peach as here or a pale blue asat ComicsKingdom. But I dare say she is not delighted at the thought of dining with Davey-boy, and it wouldn’t take much to provoke her to action….

btw, wouldnt little face have given team tracy ALL the info that he had… INCLUDING who was on mr crime’s payroll? and what happened to the arc with kassie ette and little face anyway? havent seen them in a few days now… maybe theyre at the same place blaze and “the nephew in crime” are?

I need an Excel spreadsheet to keep up with them all!

Is it me or does Mylar look a bit like a young Mike Curtis?

Blaze is looking hot, but the wrong kind of hot. I think I’m glad I’m not having dinner with her tonight.

It occurs to me that Mylar, rather than being “Mr. Crime’s nephew”, is in fact Mr. Crime, running the Apparatus out of his mom’s basement. Panda hasn’t figured it out yet.

From yesterday – @ fredville – I figured out what you were asking this morning. “The Apparatus” is not the name of one particular villian. It is the slang word used to describe the national crime syndicate. Hope this helps your understand the current story.

You’re on board with my suspicions, heligmyer. During the chit-chat on this “date” I wouldn’t be surprised if old Davey boy revealed that he IS Mr. Crime!

I wonder if Panda owns a restraunt? I sure could go for some Orange Chicken!

I am in the “Davey = Mr. Crime” camp, too. I also think we’ll know for sure this weekend…

Poor Blaze…she looks like she’d rather be soewhere else.

I concur, Blaze looks VERY uncomfortable in that dress, and thoroughly mortified to be in the company of Beau Brummel there next to her. Love the occasional bits of humor that add spice to to this otherwise very serious storyline (and I have a feeling things are going to get REALLY serious very soon…)

She fills it quite nicely, though, you would think it was drawn on her.

……right before I turned to page 2 of the comments, it hit me, too…….“I bet he IS Mr. Crime”…..and then I saw the deluge of similar comments, so I feel it even more so now…..I think it’s a combination of the t-i-m-i-n-g…….why bring him back into the story again now……when the climax is about to unfold…unless he WAS a major part of it? Plus a classic Gould “over the top” touch being recognized, and honored here……through a major villian posing as a seemingly innocent player….I’ve gotta say, Dick Tracy is simply in it’s own league as a comic strip…..I’d rather read it than the rest combined, if forced to make a choice!!!

Poor Blaze… having to go through this brand of social torture. But, I have to say it… a lot of geeks have that EXACT same outfit that Mylar’s wearing. Myself, included.
