Sprocket’s jealous!

Sprocket is “hard-core” jealous! There’s no reason to think that Kandi has the slightest intention of making a move on Silver, but let’s hope that Sprocket doesn’t misconstrue something as indicating that, or Lena is about to get a high-sugar meal.

I’m really starting to wonder just how incestuous this relationship is. Sprocket is extremely possessive of Silver. Just when it seemed that she might be the one who could turn away from crime and make it on her own talents, it seems that she cannot bear the thought of Silver being taken away from her.

That reminds me of Boris Arson and sister Zora. Same strong bond of loyalty. Compare Elsa Krystal killing her twin brother over money!

What exactly is it that Silver has been cooking up in the back room, if anything?

Team Tracy’s characters are so believable. It’s as if they have actually studied human psychology!

And a lot of jealousy, too. Sprocket likes to be the “doer,” and here Kandi is working the scam with Silver. Sprocket is also supposed to be some kind of “earth child,” not sure how that plays into her personality, I’m not a shrink.

I’m with you, sixam. In fact, I’ve been thinking about Jack and Meg White. Remember that they told people they were brother and sister for a long time, but they weren’t?

As Blossom Plenty ‘might’ have said, in agreeing that a ‘barefooted Sprocket Nitrate wasn’t so nasty after all.The girl likely growing up without much adult guidance, supervision, or money, while developing a fierce survive instinct, one linked to her brother.

She’s not enjoyed a good. “press” here, this grown up. less privileged (no bucks) little Orphan Annie, whose not (necessarily) a ‘Mary Worthless’ by flashing those possessive instincts for her brother. Given her (need for survival) position might not be anything untoward or improper - as has been implied

Growing up circumstances may have been unkind to her, Officer Doherty, was just politely doing his duty . . .But she’s been the sibling that’s urging a return to the ‘straight and narrow’ . . .We should give her a break !

We don’t know the entire backstory yet, but a few facts are obvious. The Nitrate siblings have been isolated from any meaningful relationship with other people. This isolation probably started in their childhood. Their relationship with one or both of their parents was certainly emotionally or outright sexually incestuous. If the parents didn’t have any close adult relationships, due to their inability to relate to anyone else, they would use their children as a substitute for them. Thus an intergenerational cycle of emotional/sexual incest would be perpetuated. The remark made by Sprocket about theaters is instructive. The family was probably involved in the movie theater business. That was certainly one of their only emotional outlets that the Nitrate’s had as children. Their constant munching of popcorn was a habit they picked up from their involvement with the movie business. Their choice of Lena as a pet tells me that these two have a sadistic streak in them that’s very deep. Normal folks simply don’t own an animal that can cut off a persons body parts with just one bite. BTW, hyena’s can be trained by people just like a dog can be trained. I wonder how they got Lena?

Good morning my friends. WOW! Exceptional good comments today! Sigmund Freud would be delighted with Silver and Sprocket AND the good diagnoses that each of you have provided! Have a warm and comfy day everyone.

I do not say this lightly: Sprocket is insanely jealous. Kandikane Lane is at risk, should any innocent remark or action be misconstrued (so easily!) by Sprocket. What should be equally obvious is that her more-than-just-brother, Silver, is also at risk, if an “if I can’t have him, nobody will!” scenario should play out in the barefoot psycho’s mind….

When these two were first introduced, Sprocket was asking Silver about getting rid of Lena – she made a point of displaying her distaste for the pet. But I notice today, and back a few days as well, she has been feeding it lovingly, petting it, etc. I wonder why she changed her attitude?

Snarky comments are one thing, but expressing such hatred is inexcusable.

Yes, but who is Dick Tracy? Where is Tracyville?

Now that we’ve likely all been sobered by a day of amateur psychiatric dissertation . . . It does make me feel a bit ‘uncomfortable’ to realize, that I have an unmarried female cousin named - Lena May . . .- and no, (before you ask), she doesn’t look like a Hyena . . .But I’ll have to ponder - do any of the descriptions or unusual queries set out above - apply to her ? ?

Silver and Sprocket could be non-identical twins.It has never been revealed if they are the same age or not. If Silver were the older sibling, Sprocket could be protective towards him as a form of gratitude for him watching out for her as they were growing up. Or if Sprocket is older, she may be protective of her little brother, maybe a sort of maternal instinct. There seems to be hints of an unusual childhood for these two.As far as why they always wear sunglasses, maybe they grew up in darkened movie theatres and developed a sensitivity to daylight.

Maybe Sprocket is right and Kandikane is the con. She seems to be attracted to older men. She could be conning both Vitamin and Silver.

I’d love to see Silver come on out and ask Kandi if he could write her from prison. Good pickup line. Can’t ya see Sprocket then?
