Incidentally, I’ve been looking for a clip of Fleegle from the 1959 “L’il Abner” movie which could be linked here, but to date no luck.

As I recall, he had a very distinctive walk.

I always thought that Evil-Eye was Pansy Yokum ’s rival?

….looking ahead, this just occurred to me……how on earth did Abner K. manage to KEEP his mansion/killing arena after what happened there? I guess he must have had a second one….contract killing paying very, very well and all…..

I’ll need to redo the piece – it’s on it’s second or third iteration already – to add some of those notations in. The Donna Loren info was added during the most recent draft.

Hadn’t originally meant for it to be comprehensive, but just kept adding things.

If it goes another draft, I’ll note appearances by Mike Nader and Meredith MacRae as well as how “Bonehead”/“Deadhead” is billed in each film.

That might not get done today though.

I wonder if the premise of the first “Beach Party” film – where Bob Cumming’s character is essentially studying the mating rituals of the surfers – was influenced by public interest in the research of Masters & Johnson?They’d begin their work in 1959, so it’s possible.
