WOW….a chloroform soaked rag and Tracy is on his way to being kidnapped….but by whom and for what? Is this the beginning of Sawtooth’s evil plan?

Good morning, everyone! Wow, just 6 days from the new year and now this plot twist comes in! But don’t worry folks. Like with Superman, Batman, and other heroes, we all know Dick Tracy will come out of this alive! He always does!

Dicky boy’s slipping in his old age. He should have heard that thug a half a block away. Maybe he was daydreaming about mistletoe and Mad Mysta Mindy!

It doesn’t look like such good morning for Tracy, though. You go to sleep Christmas night and, boom, Tracy is kidnapped by forces unknown.

Ah, yes – the old “chloroform” trick…

Is THAT all it takes to bring down the mighty Dick Tracy? Distract him with Christmas? Ho, ho, ho?

I hope everyone had a Joyous Noel. Now back to work.

It would be great if the rest of the year was spent with Tracy heroically – and ultimately successfully – fighting off his assailant.

To paraphrase a movie about a more fantastical comic strip character …

Gosh I hope Tracy gets back before January first, to offer us all a “Happy New Year”..

Knocking Dick out cold is probably the easy part, he’s a big man. Probably a lot of work dragging him out to the bushes or where ever out of sight. If there’s not a whole team ready to whisk Dick away to Mr. Bribery’s (I’m assuming) place that guy’s got a whole lot of labor ahead of him.

Well, that was unexpected!

Abrupt, sudden danger: that’s reality, folks. Violent crime usually doesn’t announce itself in advance.

Can Tracy react before he passes out? Will anyone of the family inside notice what is happening to the Chief of Detectives and head of the Major Crimes Unit? Or will Tracy spent New Year’s Day as someone’s trussed-up turkey, ready to be roasted?

Maybe little Joe will throw down on the mugger!
