email for more details.
This one is actually a âhindsight is 20/20â moment for many. There was a time when one of the most over-used bromides among that lot was, âLetâs tell the help weâll take our business elsewhere! Thatâll show âemâ. Truth is, that never did, and it still doesnât. The turnover among the help these days is as such that it could be a completely new staff on duty with each regular visit to such an institution. And the staff members who are put in that position are usually not management, and are barely making a living as it is. They can be perfunctorily civil to customers, but itâs not likely theyâre losing sleep over those customersâ woes at night. As such, in general, they really donât give a rip if the likes of this lot take their business elsewhere.
âŠJeeze-Louise, costs âem $5 to get $1.24 hand-counted. Arenât they incredible, folks? Coming up: even more stupid people tricks after we pause for station identification!
Many years ago I saved up loose change and deposited it in my kids savings accounts on a rotating basis. After some time, it amounted to several thousand dollars. Plus, my husband and I had our checking and savings there as well. One day I came in to deposit about $40 worth of change, all counted and rolled. They said they didnât take coins anymore. I said I would take my business elsewhere. @BlitzMcd, perhaps I wasnât the only one, as that bank is no more. BofA has my accounts now and they have an automatic coin counting machine in every branch.

Burl, if the bank came up with a higher amount than you did, would you still want the amount you came up with deposited?
