Not the same! Somebody please adopt these guys! We can continue the strip when they meet at the dog park and see their adventures in their furever homes!
IMHO there are only a couple of reasons to give up an animal. 1 = you can no longer house, feed or care for them due to homelessness or age; or 2 = you are not capable of raising training and loving your companion pet to the best of your ability. No animal should have to endure abuse at the hands of a nitwit owner.
Just adopted a sightless dog who, after losing her eyes, was being picked on by the other dogs in her family. She’s been accepted without reservation by my three Siberian Huskies, one of whom is also sightless.
Note to world, animals with disabilities make wonderful additions to loving homes with usually very minor adjustments and concessions to the disability.
Remember, we are NOT the RULERS of this planet – we are the STEWARDS of this planet – there is a HUGE philosophical and moral difference between the two positions.
If you DO happen to ignorantly believe that “you are the ruler of ALL you survey”, I would suggest you look up and absorb the ancient meaning of “noblesse oblige”! Even Rulers ar not without responsibilities!
By rights Kennel “C” should be empty, as should Kennels “A” and “B” ! “No Kill” Refuges are a wonderful first step, but…

Sad, but sweet. A dose of poignancy.
