Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau for May 30, 2013
Transcript:
John Boehner: Try to understand, Bob. 33% of our committees are already investigating Obama... that's a lot of televised outrage. We're in danger of overplaying our hand. Bob Goodlatte: But, Speaker, our members are rested and ready to go! We'd be perfect! John Boehner: Bob, you sit on agriculture. Bob Goodlatte: So? You don't think farmers care about Benghazi?

Note that the capital dome has 100 leaks that congress can’t get around to funding. Politics is so much more fun.

This must be how Trudeau deals with writer’s block.

only 33%? gosh we need 100% focused on getting the Muslim Socialist Interloper!! keepin these lunatics busy on things that don’t matter is the best thing that could happen to America. letting people like Gohmert, Issa, Cantor and the rest run America is the best way to ruin what is left of America. not much left as it is.
creative dissonance. only problem is Wall St. will continue to write the laws as long as the Republicans own the House and Senate and Judiciary. i’d love to meet a limousine liberal, i see nothing but Rightwing Lunatics in my state. a flyover state. land of the Lunatics and the Right to kill with guns are our state motto.

The center of the road is where the animal corpses are found. Either side would have found fewer run over.
Besides, politics attracts team players more interested in the team than the reason for the game in the first place.

Part of what makes it seem so bad is that we are seeing more. They used to do a better job of keeping us in the dark.

@Redkaycei RepocThe man would never admit what he is too blind to see and too ignorant to understand – even if it jumped up and bit him in the butt.Besides, all he likes to do is insult other people who don’t support his views and to repeat, like a broken record, over, and over, and over, the same infantile prattle.A man full of sound and fury… signifying nothing.

Trudeau is wrong! Most farmers do care about Benghazi. We have our share of children in the military, and do value things like honesty, accountability and personal responsibility. Mr. President, just tell the truth!

I’ll try to keep an open mind, but at this point , “organic” is only more expensive – that’s all.
I really must disagree with you. Monsanto in particular, may be responsible for the world wide die off of bees. This is a huge problem in that bees are so much a huge part of our ecology. Plus, Monsanto is trying sell you seeds that will only produce one crop. Next year you have to buy another batch instead of setting your own aside. The GMOs have modifications that resist herbicides and insect infestations. We don’t know the whole story, yet, on what these compounds contained within the products are doing to mankind. I don’t have the room here to write about all the harm that Monsanto and others are causing. Respectfully, please research this on your own.
