It can’t happen soon enough; I am so tired of, “is this a rerun?”

yay.

Tired of the reruns? Yes. But the last few Sunday comics have been new

Soon you say, how about when?

Original strips are now scheduled to return on the week of Nov. 18.

Top stuff! And I’ve enjoyed the re-runs as well.

People are funny: They’ll spend dollars on CDs, DVDs, books, etc. with the intention of listening, watching and reading again, but make odd comments on cartoon reruns. Maybe they didn’t spend enough bucks on Doonesbury.

The next time Mr. Trudeau goes on ‘vacation’, he should bring back cartoons from the sixties and seventies that not only show how little things have changed politically, but how much the guys have changed ‘physically’. Reminiscently,C.

I was thinking that Uncle Duke would be a great way to address the current spying debacle, but unfortunately Trudeau seems to be afraid to criticize Obama, while other liberal editorial cartoonists (like Matt Bors) have been savagely ripping into him.

Wonderful! How long has it been, 6 months? It seems like a year.

Why WAS Trudeau on vacation for so long? I never heard. (Of course, I never asked……) All the NSA spying, the government shutdown, so much to ridicule and Trudeauwas AWOL. I wish he would get back here yesterday.

Hope this doesn’t adversely affect my lawsuit against Truduea for a zillion simoleans for all the re-runs. He owes me! Or as Johnny Cochoran put it; “if the strips aren’t new, then he owes you!” And he better not be a liberal when he gets back. Hopefully he’ll draw the new strips as seen through someone else’s eyes, perhaps Ted Cruz or Fox News, you know, fair and balanced.

I don’t understand peoples angst about the reruns, but then I have a hard time understanding angry people.I will be glad to see new Doonesburys, though.

Here on the west coast of the US, they don’t call themselves Roma, but Rom, with the o pronounced like rod.

Thanks GT. I am sure you have been hard at work. Alpha house will be great. When the strip is back we can get back to the babies and all the rest of the gang. All in good time.

i love the rerun, but stuff like this is just wonderful. Brilliant!

Just wanted to say that Trudeau breaks the 4th wall more often than anything I can think of.

Susan, I tend to think Alex & Leo aren’t there because they’ve actually had work to do recently, and don’t just have to wait in the green room.

When you come back can you please make fun of Obama the way you have done other Presidents in the past.
