Successful marriages generate perpetual embers after the sparks die down. Unsuccessful marriages become ashes. But the sparks-flying period is really only to create ignition and can’t be repeated fortunately, as most of us would become emotional wrecks if prolonged or repeated.

Problem with the starting over theory is that the only reason either of them started the relationship is that he didn’t know she was a moron and she didn’t know he was a total jerk. Now that they have that knowledge wouldn’t they both prefer to try their luck pretty much anywhere else?
