I know some who, it was said, “married their mothers.” I.e. married girls very much like their mothers. Did Mark fall in love with his father?

Did Mark and Chase eventually marry? They can, y’know, now that same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states.

If the did marry, I hope they were able to get a wedding cake!!

“A Clean Well-Lighted Place” (1933) is a Hemingway story about loneliness vs privacy (among other themes).

The trouble with Hemingway, IMO, is that he deserves all his bad press, he deserves to be vilified/ostracised but you just can’t ignore his (patchy) sensitivity and (consistent) writing power.

From what I understand, concealing a relationship isn’t a very healthy approach for a relationship. If Chase wants an unhealthy relationship, well, he probably should have run that past Mark. :-|

It just occurred to me…Chase looks suspiciously like Stephen Fry. Even if it’s not so, I suddenly can’t erase the similarities.

I notice Chase’s lipstick has all disappeared today…

At least Phil is now having an actual conversation with someone connected to his son.
