June: I hate "Black Friday." I think it's awful how they follow up a day of thanks with a day of rudeness and greed! For some people, Thanksgiving is just Black Friday Eve! I dread it! Ralph: I miss the good old days when the only thing I dreaded about Thanksgiving was grandma's green bean casserole!

“Rudeness” I understand. “Rudness” sounds like they had extra red on their cheeks.

I am amused about all the people who complain about Black Friday – and then decide to go out shopping for deals. If you disapprove, then stay home. The stores aren’t doing this to be mean – they do it because it draws in customers.

He doesn’t like green bean casserole? What’s wrong with him?

I was glad to see some stores talk about how they wouldn’t open on Thanksgiving night or the wee hours of Friday. I won’t ever shop at stores that open at those times…if they can’t respect their own people, upon whose backs their success is built, why would I trust them to respect their customers?

A Day of Rudness is an ancient custom originating in the lower Carpathians sometime in the mid 13th century. She’s such a philistine.
