Nope, none of them interesting – on land or sea – we go for historic sites on trips – and husband would be in the stateroom’s bathroom the entire visit as he suffers from major motion sickness. (Been through every “cure” and none work – he has to drive, no buses, trains – other than very short subway trips on some subway lines of less than 4 stops-, no boats, no ships, no planes. )

The galley is always cool, especially if you love to cook or bake. The rest…. not so much.

But “astronomy gazing”? Shouldn’t that be “stargazing”?

The stage shows are awesome. Just sitting on the balcony of your room and watching the water is very relaxing, read (or write) a book, go for a swim in the onboard pool, and a beer to make everything more interesting.

You would think that as a man who likes to eat, that Ralph would find the galley tour a little more exciting!

Every cruise I’ve been on has a Trivia game. I love to play!

Ralph’s only question? Where is the donut shop in this ship?

Go with astronomy, incredable on the open sea. “And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by;And the wheel’s kick and the wind’s song and the white sail’s shaking”

It was still more fun cruising when I was a teenager in the 60s…

On our honeymoon five years ago, my wife and I went on our first cruise. We decided to go to an art auction. My wife told me not to raise my hand, otherwise I’d be bidding on a piece of art. Would you believe she was the one who won a Pebbles and Bam Bam cel which we have framed on our wall?

Soooo….this is not one of the monster ships run by Royal Caribean, Disney or Norwegian. I’d be bored to death. Where’s the zip line, race cars, water slide, broadway shows, rock climbing wall…huh??!
