There was an episode of Captain Planet And The Planeteers that featured a parrot who learned to talk by watching movies on TV.

I actually laughed out loud. Now I KNOW I’m getting old!

I always thought it was “Whee, doggy”

I was Googling for “Beverly Hillbillies” Quotes and I came up with an exchange between Granny and Jed that I don’t remember seeing in the series:

Granny: “I was comin from the still.”

Jed: “From where?”

Granny: “The hill, the hill!”

Jed: “I heard you the first time. You probably got your nose wet too, let me smell your breath.”

Granny: “Not while you’re smokin…”

“Y’all come back now, yuh hear?”

Paleontologists say that birds evolved from the dinosaurs. Maybe evolution isn’t the positive direction that Darwin wrote about?

Set him up with “Get Smart”. That show had more catchphrases than anything save possibly “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In”, and they managed to do it with an actual plot.
