The vertical hold is out again. This comic is gonna be out of service for about two hours. I’m going to remove all the tubes and take them down to the grocery store to test them and have the bad one replaced.
Looks like the top part of the top row and bottom part of the bottom row from a 2-row Sunday strip. And April 29,1956 was a Sunday..Looks as if whoever is preparing these as images for the computer is doing it programmatically and not actually looking at the results before submitting them for publication.

Since GoComics consistently receives this comic in an incorrect format, I’m surprised we can read it as often as we do.
