Again, the point Wally should be making is that the TS may be able to help Clive more than they can.Of course, that assumes that the TS would just interrogate him and then plug him into another PT. It may be that, if they aren’t satisfied with his answers, question his loyalty or feel that he knows too much to be among the general TS public, they may just dust him instead.One possibility would be for Wally to open the base in Clive’s bowl and remove the transmitter. This would be dodgy in real life as a civil engineer may not be able to tell the difference between various black boxes and might accidentally remove Clive’s communication box instead. I’m guessing that “Endtown” follows the trope where all engineers tend to be able to work on ANYTHING.

I disagree with Holly. I also think Clive can fend for himself….he can do anything once he put his mind to it.
