I am beginning to suspect we the readers are being led astray. While no cream of the crop in this society, they may be no more than a couple of schoolyard bullies who never grew up.
However, the chase may lead them all down an alley none of them wanted to go.
With all of the cholesterol these two might have ingested, they could just fall over with massive coronaries. Maybe they had a taste for “long pig” before their transformation.
I think its significant to note the two missing posters of swine people in the first panel. That combined with her being a sow, this situation seems ripe for an abduction.
Jack Rabbit ran on a platform of’ ‘being true to your animal nature.’ I would say the change of administration in Endtown has encouraged some of the hungrier Endtown citizens to become more active in applying their beliefs. Politics can be both the follower and the leader of human desires.
I think the missing porkys are probably why this lady pig is jogging. she probably wants to increase her strength and her speed to help herself ward off guys like these. There is no way to interpret what the guys are doing as friendly jest.the Jerks are not seeing her as a possible date. The Jackrabbit wanted this kind of a society and is reaping what he sowed.
It would be interesting to get a closer look at those “missing person” posters and see the names. One of Jacob Jackrabbit’s criteria for joining “his group” was one had to get rid of one’s “human surname”. Wally Wallechinski and Holly Hollister did not do that. Jacob Jackrabbit did. Do the folks on the posters have “people” last names, or are they do they have the last name “pig”…or “swine”. And, would it matter at all, or is just being a pig anthro enough to get one hassled—or disappeared?
(first post)Thank you Aaron Neathery for creating this wonderful trap called Endtown. And with my greatest respect, curse you for the same thing.Ok, that out of the way! I feel a little better and with the continuing story I feel some comfort in “losing” Holly.I do expect Wally and others to return.I have no explanation for why this comic attaches its self to my mind like it does but perhaps the community of others also attached, I can cope.

Not to condone what Allgood did with the Milk Trial (I can never condone that!), but perhaps this is the sort of thing he was trying to prevent?
