If she chooses to make a claim of self defense, it would probably hold up in court. The only other witness is dead, and even his friend (if honest) would confirm that he followed her into the alley with ill intent.
It looks like Heather’s got the schism. This ain’t gonna be good for the wolves in Endtown. Or anyone else for that matter. Jim didn’t show any favorites in the lizard city.
“I’m just tidying up. He was like this when I found him, and I’m trying to save the police the work of cleaning up all the blood when they get here. There’s so. much. blood.”
A dark thought crossed my mind yesterday… Do we know what actually happened to the wolf street cleaner? We saw Heather focused on his jaws… Maybe that unidentified wolf in her shop wasn’t the arsonist. She could be a serial killer and the street cleaner is one of her victims.
COYOTY has brought me to think a very frightening thought also, might Heather be the cause of the missing pigs? Those eyes of a mad woman may be insight into the inner mind of Heather’s decent into schism syndrome?
Has everyone forgotten she’s been terrorized by the Wolves for almost a week now (I think)?
They beat her, vandalized her store, ruined her business, We’re looking at a Cammel with a broken back (Yes it’s a horse, shut up). Ever hear of a ‘disgruntled postman’? Same concept. Far to much stress in to short a time to process broke her.
My question is ’Where’s the bunny’? Obviously the police are freakin useless, higher authority needs to get involved or else Endtowns gonna have itself a good ol’ fashioned Race Riot!
Coyoty has a fascinating thought, above. Aaron has a pretty good way of obfuscating things; for all we know, this wolf is the harmless janitor we saw a few weeks ago. // Other thoughts: Didn’t one of you say some time back that schism syndrome primarily hits recent mutants? If Heather has schism syndrome, (a) how long has she been a “mutant” and (b) was our assumption about schism syndrome wrong (i.e., old timers can get it, too)?
Her hands (hooves) are very oddly placed to be beating the brains out of that wolf. on the other hand (hoof?) it does look like her and is raised in panel 3. Not sure if she’s “gone postal” or just discovered the bloody body and looking up with a “I didn’t do it, someone else did it!” look.

Panel 3 still hammering away with the brick. Panel 4 ??? I think she has something in her mouth. Maybe a piece of cloth, his shirt? or his hat?

Would it be wrong for me to say he deserved it? If so, I am very sorry.

Aaron can conjure such emotion with his images. The madness in Heather’s eyes….

Oh no sir, you won’t be sleeping tonight. Possibly not tomorrow, either – that’s not a face you’d want to see in dreams…
