Not too much need for a food critic in a town that subsists on canned beans. Just sayin’.

I think all of the wolves are too scared to stick their heads out for fear that a security rat may cut it off. However, they do not have enough brains to lay low for a while. Somebody is using the wolves as a scapegoat for some unknown agenda.

This story arc is making the lizard colony make more sense.

Unknown to most and unknown to mostly others…..our newest character is the famous, the legendary, the irrepressible Col Sand…….errrrr…….SUPER CHICKEN!!!! He was just minding his own business disguised as a low level reporter for Endtown. Then he geard his battle call…….BUC BUC BACAW. Soon he will spring into action and do something un-chickenly heroic! Stay tuned kids for the next episode! Brought to you by Beans…..when you care the least.

I think being a food critic is a poultry excuse to not allow someone to be an editor. It’s not like they’d run a-fowl of being bias; except against pineapple on pizza. Hen you think about it, it just makes a lot of flock’ing sense.

“What-I say—what in the everlovin’ world are y’all goin’ on about? Listen to me! I’m not talkin’ just to move the air around. Y’all are fixin’ to make me mad —-angry, that is.” Or maybe he’s not a leghorn.

In a town that’s already eating its pork-like residents, can chickens be far behind?

Looks like that poultry’s in a fowl mood. If he took the job would he pressed chicken? Where’s Henry Cabot Henhouse the III when you need him? That bird has a rapier sharp wit and a valet who has escaped from the game show What’s My Lion.

New Lands is the second book in the Chronicles of Egg series. Maybe there’s a clue in the about the missing pigs. But, which came first?
