How did they put it up the first time?

At least they’re going into this adventure as a group. I’d originally figured they were going to send Chic in (to wherever) by himself.

Duffy’s comment suggests that there were injuries on another foray into this area. If Duffy is telling the truth and not just deliberately rattling Chic, how did the kid(s) explain away the injuries? “Oh, I fell down a flight of stairs…” We’ll see.

I’m definitely following along with interest as this story unfolds.

Greatest snipe hunt in all of history. Chic’s going to need Irving’s eyes in the back of his head.

Maybe whatever it is will get them first.

Well, at least Duffy is leading the way.

And where is Irving?

This is a good arc. I expect it will stop here temporarily while we see what the super duper detergent duo are up to or how Kirbee’s plant is faring.

At least, Chic isn’t going first.

I have NO idea where this is going to go. I have stopped trying to guess. This is getting more and more intriguing!

Shouldn’t that be a portable reel-to-reel, Aaron? It wasn’t until nearly the mid sixties that the cutting edge technology became a consumer item.

Then, again, all those neat weapons and stuff…

BTW, if any reader like to ponder what could have been, go look up “Operation Vulture” – scary.

He’s not so smart. Better teach him how to climb a life net rope ladder. Use the vertical as handholds and only use the horizontal for your feet.

Probably some lonely hermit who rather not be bothered by those pesky kids lives up there.
