If they can operate “through Wally”, what happens now when he sleeps?

So it IS a mixture of several of the theories stated here. A ditto construct, but neither Wally nor Chic controlled it.

Much like One/I took control of Jim during his Schism, I suppose One/I took advantage of Wally’s faint to take control of the dittos.

One/I once again pierced the Veil to torment the little creatures trapped in the maze.

But I’ll say again, poor Chic….he still hasn’t snapped out of it, it seems.

More importantly, what’s on the other side of their door, and what does Raven Croft see now?

One doesn’t own dittos… one merely gets to borrow them from time to time.

Seems odd to me that they aren’t discussing the fact that the apartment and its furnishings have vanished, leaving them in a big room with one table and two chairs.

Poor Chic.

I think Chic is in the best place he can be right now-tightly held in Kirbee’s arms. And he looks like he is hanging on as tightly to her as she to him (except for an occasional gesture on her part).

Still not convinced about the dittos. Time will tell.

Does Chic have anything to say about this?

Time for them all to meet the bird. Because everyone knows that the bird is the word.

Wally is facing an intervention right now. He might have to go into rehab to give up his ditto addiction.

Kirbee seems very angry: in a protective maternal mode. I hope it doesn’t mess up her relationship with Wally.

Maybe they are still in the Edmund Fitzgerald because Holly never wanted Wally to leave.

So… Where’s the little miracle now?

Regardless of the source of the raccoon beast—the dittos are certainly “eating” well now. Chic is terrified, Kirbee is scared, moving towards angry, and Wally is frustrated. That indicates that the dittos could have “slipped their leash” when Wally passed out. Fainting and sleeping are not the same. I’ve wondered from the start of this Eden story how the dittos were being fed.

What was meant by “We’re through the veil!”?

“It’s not.”

In practicality, true. Except that Kirbee has to realize Wally is not an antagonist, but a tool. That means they can work together on what they are facing.

BTW, they still don’t know why Chic went to the beach and what happened when he went there.

Could it be there’s someone else out there with their own ditto army? After all, didn’t the few survivors from Unity use dittos to shield them from the topsiders … for a while. And now that I think of it the evil dittos retreated as soon as Wally regained consciousness and could gain control over them.
