Do you remember those pictures several years ago that you couldn’t see what was pictured unless you focused your eyes some distance beyond the paper? I think she’s beginning to fall into one of those.

Is it just me, or does her hand/glove in the 3rd panel look like it is blending/merging into the background/device – like she is being absorbed into the gate?

Well, viewing even his little portal was enough to drive Ravenscroft/Veichmann mad. And now the same is happening to Amesworth, apparently. Wonder if they’ll have to cut her out of her suit to snap her out of it? But that would probably be disastrous in this particular plane of the multiverse.

Now shake your device gently, all the while focusing on the loops inside her device.

Do the loops in the room stay still?

Amesworth’s sanity train of thought is now leaving the station..

The last guy that got caught up in this situation likely tore out his own eyes to make it stop.

It would be interesting if she did end up ripping her suit but winding up a TM. That would REALLLLY complicate things as those are hated more than mutants.

It’s not like she was ever particularly sane to begin with…

I don’t think that’s a reflection on the lens, I think they are actually on the lens. Did they travel up the arm in panel 3 or is panel 3 showing the first person view of the pattern covered lens?
