So – now we know how Wally got there. I’m a little concerned about Chic and Kirbee though, because we already know there is some kind of preference for “major” characters (Ravenscroft mentioned something like that to Duffy).
Hmmm, It sounds like these Topsiders do not have Duffy’s brother. And Amesworth never indicated that she had grabbed him. Maybe it was Marx that got him.
At least it sounds as if we’re going to hear more about what Amesworth said too little about.
It sounds like the Topsider thinks that they’re the comic-book characters come to life, when actually they are ordinary people somehow merged into the form of those characters.
The Eden Project crew know about the multiverse, and of the cardoodle dimension. Marx apparently added something to the biosuit manufacture, and left and extra-dimensional comic book that can only be seen by those wearing a suit as clues…to something. Marx chose a representation of the cardoodle dimension as a clue. Meanwhile, Marx has always shown connection with Wally, starting back on the Opabinia. Wally-as Cracked Cat-is a major character in the comic. The Eden Project folks saw some connection between the comic and…the disaster? So, they started trying to round up Endtown dimension counterparts to the Cardoodle comic. Why? They found Wally and his family who were “met…out in the great waste.. by someone..” Project scientists grabbed them and put them in Eden. Again…what are they trying to do? I’m looking forward to this. Oh…and what happened to Benny/Skeeter?
I wonder how much they know….Eden is gone. Now there is still the problem with Eye lurking in their system. How will it react seeing Wally and company? Eye has a serious thing for Wally. This may trigger Eye into action…..it all comes down to this to quote a song with just a twist in the lyrics. What Eye wants. Eye gets. God help us all. (Roger Waters Amused to Death…What God Wants.)
At this time, and in this place, Eden may still exist. Remember that Ravensworth told Duffy that the end of Eden would have repercussions throughout the multiverse. The time variations are apparent when you consider that the time spent in the Lighthouse could not have been the same amount of time that passed here,
Look carefully at what the scientist is saying in panel four “Each specifically sought out and collected for Eden citizenship. Looks as though we’ll shortly know if our theories are correct.” Sounds rather ominous, if you ask me. Why do I get the impression that we’ll soon be in for a HUGE reveal???
Great capturing of the different emotions – amazing that it is caught on non-human characters. Aaron is a great artist. Be sure to support him through his patreon. ( Can make one time donations – sign up, send it, then cancel) Or buy his books and share with others the great ENDTOWN story.
Remember that we (as far as I can remember) never knew where Eden “came from” or how Wally and his family got there. As I recall (and am too lazy to check out), Wally was having a in-colour dream involving Aaron Marx and some scary cookies, then suddenly woke up, in bed with Kirbee in Eden.

It’s a tribute to the weirdness of Endtown that we’re flipping out on discovering that our favourite cartoon characters are… cartoon characters.

Wally is on to being annoyed, it appears. Or unnerved, regardless his tail is still poof.
Poor Duffy.

So, they are “saved” because they are recognized as the stars of Cardoodles? Are we talking just one comic book – the one that they appeared in?
And as a couple of you have already pointed out, what does it mean that Duffy’s brother – and Kirby – aren’t there?

Huh! Aaron does not know the meaning of the word shortly. But don’t get me wrong. I love his story telling.
