I know someone at work that when his email inbox gets too full, he deletes all the unread ones. He says, âIf itâs important, they either send it again or send a nag emailâ. Interesting concept. I just canât bring myself to do that when that happens to me :)

Thatâs a good way to prioritize. Only move to the âactionâ box after a repeated request. Works when the job is overwhelming.

My baskets were labeled In, Out, and Too Hard.

When the IN pile gets too high you simply place everything in the OUT basket. It will buy you a few days while the mailroom sorts things out.
