I had that feeling once in a dark night the snowflakes were really huge like the size of dimes and instead of falling down they were like falling horizontally straight at me through the window as if they were being pitched at me by a base ball pitcher. I was driving 50 mph down i95 at the time.
Yesterday the neighborhood was filled with diamonds. Through dead calm, morning air, from a cloudless sky were drifting infinite, tiny crystals of ice, aerosol in size. They were almost invisible unless you looked into the rising sun, and the world became magic. I can only guess that a temperature inversion was creating a dew point layer somewhere above us. Are there any meteorologists out there?
This is an optical effect, but I can’t remember the name of it to save me. The same thing happens when you’re stopped in your car and the vehicle next to you begins to move forward, you feel like you’re backing up. Anyone?
In the original run, I saw Mike refer to her as “Lizard breath” several times. But, in this run, I’ve seen it only once. (When she locked him out of the house.)
Has that been changed in this run? It sets up a great joke years in the future, when Elizabeth decides to leave for a job closer to her family.
My favorite moments in Winter are at night, after a snowfall, when the sky clears. The snow absorbs sound, and the silence is almost deafening. Looking up into the night sky, the air is crisp, and clean, and there are so many stars, it sometimes feels as though I can see forever.

I have a little decorative plaque that says “Angels can fly because they take themselves so lightly.”

I used to do that. It made me dizzy after a while and I usually fell down and made a snow angel, or hit a fire hydrant. …sigh

I’m sure he does feel it but he isn’t about to say “hey your right” to his little sister.

Some people are so uptight, that they refuse to let go even for a minute, and see what is right in front of them.

Everyone thinks theirs are the heaviest, usually without any evidence to that effect.

Michael’s problem is that he cannot stand still long enough for the effect to take place. Slow down, Mike. Enjoy the beautiful world that God made.

I’ve done that before with the falling snow.
