Transcript:
Roger: You boys ready for the Super Bowl? Jason: You could say we're "super ready". Marcus: We found a website with instructions on how to be total football fanatics. Jason: We've got our scarves... Marcus: Some good off-color songs to sing... Jason: A couple of pints... Marcus: A ball to kick around with our mates... Roger: Was this website based in the U.K. by any chance? Jason: Maybe. Why? Marcus: Queens's beans! How is the score 7-0 already?!

What is the U.K. equivalent to a football (or “soccer” here in the U.S.) championship? Anyway, go, Seahawks!

I find them both boring. If I wanted to be a sports fan, I’d watch hockey.

I notice that Jason is wearing Slytherin colours …

I like Footy because it is a lot like Ice hockey. I grew up playing and watching hockey. Never have liked american “Non-foot ball”. Discovered soccer aka footy a few years back. It’s actually enjoyable to watch, most of the time. Go go Canadiens! Up the Blades!

FYI, football got it’s name from the fact you play it on your feet(as opposed to horseback, etc.).

Shouldn’t that be “seven – nil?”

We don’t mention this Super Bowl…….

“seven-nil” is how it’s said, yes. But “7-0” would be the normal way of writing it…The couple of pints would be illegal at a match but unremarkable when watching at home or in a pub.
