In 1930 poverty in the US = maybe having enough to eat a meal 3 days a week, fuel for the coal stove to cook but not to heat the 2 room shack and hand scrubbing clothes in a washtub…. today poverty in the US = having 2 cars, living in a 4 br house, having cable TV, Xbox, Wii, Playstation, Air conditioning, cell phones (with $300 a month bills from texting and downloading music & games) and eating at McDonalds 6 times a day.
Scatty: Thank you. Those who are not lower income have no idea what we really go through each month to cover all the necessary expences. There are a few who abuse the welfare system, but most are struggling just to get by.
No apologies necessary. But you know, there are ways to adjust your display settings to make it more accessible for you, no matter what kind of computer you have…you should check it out.

I feel very secure knowing that President Mitt “I’ll bet you $10,000” Romney knows what it’s like to worry about losing a job.
