Hebrew National hot dogs come in seven packs. That’s an East Coast brand, I don’t recall noticing them in other parts of the country.
I guess this really was about the number of buns coming out even with the number of hotdogs, but I until I read the comments, I thought it meant the length of the hot dog matching the length of the bun, which is a non-issue.
When I have hot dog buns left over, I put them in the freezer, and take them out later to make garlic bread when I have spaghetti.
