They say the Polar Bear thing makes you feel alive. Ironically it would make me wish I were not. The sitting and watching TV while eating Toblerone (nod to Polar Bears) and drinking Coca Cola (another nod to Polar Bears) makes you glad to be alive, but will considerably shorten your lifespan.
I won that once back in 1965 (Ish?) in Naniamo BC. Two of us stayed until the spectators got too cold and they called us in.. I had just completed a navy diving course so was in pretty good shape and used to cold water.
Did you get Special Olympics’ permission to use the words “polar bear plunge” in the cartoon? They have it copyrighted. Threatened to sue our organization for using the name for our little fundraiser.
