With a side order of buffalo chips.

Does anyone else remember a commercial, from the 90’s, I think – Family is setting down to dinner, one of the kids asks what they are, got told Buffalo Wings, another kid says, “Buffaloes don’t have wings!”, and the last kid goes, “Yeah, not any more, thanks a lot Dad!” and all the kids glare at him? I could have sworn I saw it, but no one else seems to remember it.

I bet they have chicken fingers too.

The wings are not powerful enough to get the buffalo to fly yet …

… but they still serve a useful purpose (as seen here).

When some food chain was sued because their “boneless” wings weren’t actually wings, they issued a statement saying that yes, in fact, the boneless wings were actually nuggets and that their buffalo wings did not really come from buffaloes.

And this is why you never see flying buffaloes…anymore.

And leave the buffalo tips.

It’s true that buffalo don’t have wings. Buffalo wings actually come from bison.
