I used to buy candy the day after Halloween when it was all marked down, but the stores don’t seem to do that anymore. I think they just keep selling the old candy year after year.

There are definitely (adult) costumes out there that Lust would heartily approve of.

Years ago, son moved into a nearby neighborhood, and he was looking forward to Hallowe’en with his daughters. He wanted to walk with them to enjoy the fun, so he left a small kettle of candy in his yard of TorTers. Took less than 10 min for the first kids to clean it out. He was very disappointed to see that greed had replaced consideration for others. He since has learned it is not restricted to the young.

Sin is an imaginary disease, invented to sell you, an equally imaginary disease.

Very cute take on the deadly sins. Love it. Seven was a great movie. I believe it was Brad Pitt’s first starring role. The ending is one of the best of all time. I do miss Kevin Spacey. Despite the issues, he is a great actor.

I liked the sins as portrayed in the original film Bedazzled (1967) with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. (Raquel Welch played Lust.) Cook, as the devil, complained, “What terrible sins I have working for me. I suppose it’s the wages.”

Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before: Mae West

This one is fantastic. I’ve been reading this comic since I was a child. I will be 59 next month, and it’s still great.
