To make that kind of money.

Just how much dough per hour did

he get for being funny?

When I turn out that kind of stuff,

It hardly takes a minute.

This one may sound a little rough,

But there’s no motive in it.

You oughta see what I could do

For a hundred twenty bucks!

At Caulfield’s rate for an hour or two

There’s far less chance it sucks.

@kpoulsen — I like this story line. As someone who can play and write music but who can’t sing or write lyrics to save my life, this has all been very relatable.

I’d write his songs for HALF that!
