I expect to live past 70 but it’ll be easy to do…I’m 71 now! And I’ll surely mature soon. I expect that, too, but it’s been a bit more elusive than a chronological progression.
The question wasn’t ‘Are you old yet?’ It was, ‘Do you feel old, yet?’ Two totally different questions with two different responses, at least from me. No, I don’t feel old.
I love it when a 50-something cover band decides to play the Who’s “My Generation.” When they get to the line “hope I die before I get old,” I can’t resist yelling, “TOO LATE!!”
Hey, I’m a youthful 60, so I’m allowed to do silly things like that.
A few years back, I was wheeling my shopping cart out of the store and the parking lot was at a pretty good angle. So of course I hopped on the back and road it down…Didn’t even think about it… There was a guy walking nearby and he did his best to suppress a smile….

You do have to get older, but you don’t have to grow up.

I am very proud to say that my 30 years old niece asked me if I would ever grow up and to get out of the children playground. :)

Next time don’t give him a brown tie. For a second I thought he was doing something different.

I’m getting to the point where being looked down on for being “immature” becomes admiration for being “youthful”.

My teenage granddaughter recently referred to me as “cool.” Can’t believe how much we have in common. I must be doing something right!

There’s a huge difference between childish and childlike.
May the latter last a lifetime!

Geez, at first I thought that in the last panel his tie was his arm. What a weird image that brought to mind.
