Mark Twain said the following: “Man is the only animal that blushes. Or needs to.” What do you mean he didn’t? Love Mr. Clemens, read everything he wrote…“The Innocents Abroad” is an epic that everyone should read
full quote: “Man is the only animal that blushes. Or needs to. If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.” Mark Twain did say it…why you saying he didn’t? i call “Fake. News”
Frazz16 hrs · There’s a meme going around with a picture of Mark Twain and a quote he supposedly published: “No amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot.” I liked it very much. It seemed especially relevant, and it certainly sounded like something he would have said. Until I thought, did it? I follow Twain closely enough that it shouldn’t have been the first time I ran across the quote, and if I’m not mistaken, “idiot” back in Twain’s day meant something quite different from how we use the word today. Further research was warranted. And by “further,” I mean “about 2 seconds worth would do the trick.”Sure enough, it’s bogus. And I wonder how hard it’s going to be to convince the people who passed it on. And by “hard” I mean “how much fun.”

I’ve heard of cats who have been trained to use the toilet, but I’ve never heard of one trained to flush it.

Plenty of cats and dogs have learned to flush… to the point of having to keep the bathroom door closer to co from the water bill.

my dog may not flush but when he pees he covers it up with leaves or dirt; poop, not so much.
