In the old days when gas was cheaper, a lot of things were different.
To encourage environmental savings one company gave free passes for the train. The train had a “bike” car. From the station to work was a paved path. Great fun until you have to work late and miss the train.
Do bike riders in Britain ever ride with helmets, or is that strictly an American thing?
And think of how surprised Mr. Dear would be about today’s gas prizes… Oy!
