I think it is probably seaweed as the wrapping for the hot dog sushi. Not a big fan myself, but I have eaten it.

L&H! My favorite is “Blockheads” with the ever present Billy Gilbert and James Finlaysen.

I [mentally] chuckled at all the blog posts (except Loretta Young, which was a little creepy), but I laughed aloud at the catcoon. What does that say about me?

A unicorn wonton out of items pilfered from a rivet factory and a sawmill? Sounds like folk art destined to be worth a lot of money in 50 years – go for it.

RE: “Dressed Up” in the blog - based on clues in the picture and the quality of the color in the photograph - that’s my older sister dressed up for Easter, 1954, Denver, Colorado.

I hate it when I miss reading the blog for a couple of days. It makes it hard to catch up. Does Teresa ever sleep?

Why am I stupid enough to read the comments before the blog? As for the strip, I agree with the third woman.

Sorry, this is just bugging me…Yesterday, I ran the Polish cartoon’s question through a translator and it says something like “What are the bells of doing in the early morning?”

And I can’t figure out the answer based on the letters.

Does the translation sound right? Anyone know the answer?

no, Edison did not invent it, but he made the first one that was a practical means of providing light with electricity.

oh yeah, gurls don’t have prostrates , huh? I saw a real gurl laying prostrate on the ground just the other day.
