Hey, I think I recognize that bat. And that bat. And that other bat, too.

All those bats are making me batty.

Nobody in this neighborhood has bats in their belfry.

Bats? With all that murmurating, they must be starlings.

Pretty swift.

Sunset? Moonrise? Moonset? Sunrise? (whichever it is, one glance transported me to Cockaigne – thanks Tee!)

‘Cause closer down it’s awful stinky.

Where trouble melts like lemon drops

Coal embers on high. Soon to be seen in a neighborhood near you.

Izzy says bats are just flying frogs. Way better than flying monkeys. It really is a Frogwonderfulapplause world, and you’ll find me somewhere over the fecal plume, playing sporks and dancing away impending doom in my apocalypse costume.

Flying frogs don’t have wings.

Bats are our friends! They help with pollination. They eat millions of insects. They are cute, little furry flying puppies. I support bats! See me over on that social networking site, going batty!
