I know why this thread is repeated ad nauseum. It’s part of Garfield’s character. However, as cats nearly always seem to be sleeping (when not eating or occasionally playing), I wonder what was behind the original concept of differentiation between weekdays and weekends.

Never seen Garfield look so miserable !

Saturday & Sunday are the only strong days … all the rest are weekdays ….

I’ve always wondered why he hates Mondays. He doesn’t have to go to work or school. What changes for him? Jon not there to feed him?
