I once knew a couple who pampered their cats a little too much. While visiting, I noticed 5 bowls of cat food sitting out; each with a different type of food. When I asked, I was told that “they got to eat whichever one struck their fancy that day!”
That’s the way it was on my (only) vacation on a cruise ship many years ago. You didn’t have to patronize all of this, but it was available: Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch (Informal), Tea, Dinner (Formal or Informal, your choice), Evening Snack, and Midnight Buffett. I heard that the Midnight Buffett was the best, but I could never stay up that late to find out.
