The Bruce sang of ‘57 Channels (And Nothin’ On)’ in 1992 – the relatively early days of cable. The choices have expanded, but not sure it makes it easier to find something worth watching.
Best reason for cancelling Netflix The Count can think of. And when you do find something that looks interesting, it is in a foreign language and either poorly dubbed or the white subtitles blend in with the movie and you can’t read them, anyway.
When you scroll through the list of films on one service, if you dare to look at a movie’s description, and then return to the list, the menu has automatically gone all the way back to the beginning, so you have to scroll all the way through again, and again, and again.
If there is nothing to watch, watch whatever is in the “top 10 mainstream movies everyone is talking about”. Or, idk, go to whatever qualifies as romantic. I need a date to refer to what exactly that en-tales. =3
I’m like that. It doesn’t take long to scroll and decide. The GF, on the other hand, says I’m going too fast and she usually has us settling on sone garbage movie. I’m too whipped to argue.

If Jon is the one saying “Well, that was fun” he probably means it. If Liz was saying it, she was being sarcastic.

I’ve never been able to understand people who spend more time flipping through the channels than actually watching something.

10,000 movies and they couldn’t agree on one? They must each be really picky, or unwilling to compromise.
