Yeah, I’ve used one of those two-person saws. Can you fell a tree with it? Absolutely. As fast as with a chainsaw? You’re joking, aren’t you, Walt? Why do you think people buy chainsaws?
“It was always better back in MY day”, Walr implied. Yeah, well. I know someone who is close to a century old. He is convinced that the automatic transmission he helped desgin for one of the Big Three auto manufacturers in the early 1950s is better than anything out there today. Of course he might have a point……
This sounds like me when I see someone working with a power tool. “Cordless impact driver, huh? I have a drawer full of Snap On screwdrivers. I remember taking taillights out of cars to install trailer wiring, they used a Pozidriv #2 bit, that looks like a Phillips, but it isn’t…” as their eyes glazed over. Then I tell them the important part was that I had an onion tied to my belt…
How did Walt get somebody that speaks English? We had our house painted by guys from Lithuania. Our roof was cleaned by some boys from Brazil. Our neighbors use gardeners from Mexico. The company owners may or may not be immigrants but the guys doing the work often have limited English skills.

He bought a chain saw, took it back saying it was no good, the store owner said let me see and started it, Walt said “What’s that noise”!

Just like with fishing eh, Walt. The tale gets bigger with each telling.

Next, the men will gather before Frank Nelson, threatening to quit unless he can make that old dinosaur fossil stop bothering them!

If he keeps distracting the workers, the bill is going back up to $8000. Time is money, Walt

I hope the person with the chainsaw doesn’t become a Texas Chainsaw Massacre person.
