The classic comics update for the 5th is up and running:
Walt and Skeezix work on a little project for the backyard. Avery helps in the most passive-aggressive way possible.
Uh-oh, the moonshine has run out on Horse’s Neck, and still all that distance between him and safe ground. Did anyone happen to invent the parachute?
It looks like George is peddling that news clipping to all customers now, as whatever is contained in a 20-some year old story… the hood must be looking to take whoever he can, for whatever he can get. The timing on a plan like this needs to be precise.
So now it’s more than kind-hearted Slim in on this plot to take care of the Garage squatter? Sarge and Hack ought to know better that to go behind the boss’ back on something like this, Christmas season or not.

The last panel is like a Sunday Family Circus comic strip where the mellonhead kids talk about different quotes but don’t point to who is talking.
