Since viruses kill over half the bat population, not sure that would have worked. But if that particular bat had been hit by a bus…………

Bucky runs with a rough crowd…or at least a weird one. But he kinda has to. I mean, would you be friends with him? Too risky.

Okefenokee Swamp bats are notoriously poor flyers. Bucky should have jumped with a Pogo stick.

He actually came home with the entire bat-not just the wings.

I wonder how much they cost. And what does an opossum do with the money.

Another arc from the strip’s later period, in which the Bucky and Satchel relationship is a bit more cerebral, with comparatively less drama. I like it.
