Bucky wins this one. As for Satchel, snakes don’t deserve respect…they end up with the money and power in society already. As Jean Kerr said in the classic humor book, “The snake has all the lines.”
The real mystery is where Jean Kerr has been lurking in my brain for decades. I haven’t seen those books since I was a kid. Please don’t eat the daisies…
I had a pair of diamond back rattle snake cowboy boots, I do not know how many snakes it took to make the pair but they do require more care than other boots otherwise they can rip if too dry and can discolor if you use the wrong kind of conditioner. I also have a pair of eel skin boots in black cherry, they’re much easier to care for. For everyday wear and price nothing beats cowhide.

I wear cow skin, but then I also eat cow meat.
