I still listen to AM radio. I not only found a good doo-wop R&B oldies station, but also a good real old time country station. There is also a station that plays nothing but instrumentals. There are conspiracy theorists, and ranting preachers—something for everyone!

And all this time, I thought Bucky was a college grad.

I have family in very rural Illinois. Last time I was there I couldn’t pick up anything on FM. AM was full of right wing talk and religious raving, which of course is also right wing talk. It’s no wonder all those folks are the way they are.

I can’t wait for them to unveil the new monument of a certain president on what will be called Mount Rush Limbaugh.

Most recent surround receiver I bought for the living room, a Sony, doesn’t even have an AM band on the radio, only FM. Haven’t missed it.

With internet radio around I cannot remember the last time I listened to AM radio which was the only thing you can get when you travel back when I was younger.

Seems like most of the louder loons were moving from radio to the internet by 2010, and most of the ones that the cow-orkers annoyed me with in my younger days are dead and gone now. Only one guy in my area still has a chatterbox going, and it is some sports talk show…used to be many professors with NPR playing classical music or Bob Edwards in their offices, but I haven’t heard any of that for ages.

AM and shortwave have become unlistenable at home due to interference from electric vehicles and solar panel inverters, so I have no idea what programming they run nowadays…

On Sesame Street, doesn’t Bert have orange hair? And he’s good friends with Grover, right? Wasn’t the only president before Trump to serve two terms non-consecutively Grover Cleveland? And Beaker also has orange hair, and is a scientist like Elon Musk. Trump has orange hair, and Trump is 45 and 47 ….. Coincidences you say? …… make you wonder. Bucky just needs to start calling the Muppets Hitler, and saying that they’re all racist and the enemies of democracy. The Looney leftist party will back him right up.
